EYFS Teaching Assistant Required Heysham Full Time | Monday to Friday | Term Time Only Start Date: ASAP
Veritas Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Heysham.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive. The role is full-time and offers the chance to become a valued member of a supportive school team.
The Role:
- Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
- Delivering activities that promote children's development and engagement
- Providing support to individuals and small groups
- Assisting with observations and recording pupil progressHelping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
- Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, proactive and caring approach
