Veritas Education is delighted to be working in partnership with a truly beautiful independent nursery in Wetherby to recruit an experienced and passionate Deputy Room Leader. As Deputy Room Leader, you will work closely alongside the Room Leader to support the day-to-day running of the room, helping to create an engaging, nurturing, and inspiring environment for children. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Room Leader with the day-to-day running of the room
  • Acting as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with children and families
  • Monitoring and supporting children's learning and development

  • Supporting and mentoring practitioners within the room
  • Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

Requirements:
  • Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience within an Early Years setting
  • Senior Practitioner or leadership experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
