Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Kingston and surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience within early years settings while enjoying flexible work that fits around their schedule. Whether you are looking for full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we can offer opportunities to suit your availability.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 within nursery settings, helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and develop through the EYFS framework.

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children in nurseries, schools, childcare, or similar settings desirable but not essential
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their development
  • A caring, positive, and flexible approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop within early years education

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play
  • Supporting children's social, emotional, and communication development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
  • Working closely with nursery staff to support the needs of all children
