We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and contribute to a high-quality, inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers to provide tailored support in lessons and small group settings, helping students to engage in learning, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Support students in class and in small groups
- Assist in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities
- Monitor progress and contribute to student support plans (IEPs/EHCPs)
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and engagement
- Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, and external agencies
- Contribute to an inclusive, respectful school environment
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Experience working with students with SEN, including EHCPs
- Good ICT skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An organised, proactive, and flexible approach
- A commitment to inclusion, equality, and high expectations for all
