Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? We\’re looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in a vibrant Secondary Alternative Provision, working with students who have Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

This is an incredibly rewarding opportunity for someone with a calm, compassionate approach and a desire to support young people in overcoming barriers to learning.

What We\’re Looking For:
Previous experience supporting students with SEMH needs (preferred)
A resilient, patient, and nurturing personality
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups with their learning and emotional regulation

Working closely with teachers and support staff to implement personalised strategies

Promoting positive behaviour and engagement in and out of the classroom

Helping students to build confidence, self-esteem, and independence

Assisting with the preparation of learning resources and classroom organisation

Providing pastoral care and being a trusted, consistent adult for students
