Graduate Teaching Assistants for secondary schools in West London.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting students' learning, building their confidence, and making a meaningful impact on their educational journey.

Roles are full-time, term-time only, and available to start in September 2026.

Responsibilities for English Graduate Teaching Assistants include

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and supporting classroom learning.
  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to students, including those with SEN, helping to reinforce learning.
  • Support the development of students' academic skills and personal development, fostering social and emotional growth.
  • Help manage classroom behavior and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
  • Prepare and organise teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SEN staff to track student progress and implement learning strategies.

About you

  • Educated to degree level in English or a related degree
  • Have previous experience within a school or other related experience.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm and a professional and friendly approach.
  • Have knowledge and experience supporting children within special educational needs.
  • School based experience preferred but not essential.
