Are you a qualified TA3 Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in local primary schools? Join Veritas Education and take on varied and rewarding supply roles across East Lancashire, including Blackburn, Accrington and Darwen.

We are looking for confident and adaptable TA3s to cover short-term absences, PPA time, and provide targeted classroom support. Whether you are available full-time or a few days a week, we have flexible opportunities to suit your schedule.

What you will be doing:

  • Covering lessons during PPA or staff absence - delivering prepared plans
  • Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
  • Leading small group interventions or whole-class activities
  • Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a calm, positive learning environment
  • Working closely with class teachers and other support staff to ensure continuity for pupils

What we are looking for:

  • TA3 qualification and at least 6 months experience in a primary classroom
  • Confident leading groups or covering full classes using provided lesson plans
  • A flexible, positive approach and the ability to adapt to different school settings
  • Good communication skills and a calm, professional presence
  • Experience supporting children with additional needs is a bonus
