SEND Learning Support Assistant – Lambeth Immediate Start

Location: Lambeth, South London
Position: SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term (with potential for permanent placement)
Pay: 90- 110 per day (dependent on experience)

We are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming, supportive primary school in the heart of Lambeth who are seeking a dedicated SEND LSA to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced LSA or a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in education and SEND support.

Role Overview:

  • Providing 1:1 support to pupils with EHCPs, including those with autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or other learning needs.

  • Supporting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities and ensuring inclusive classroom participation.

  • Working closely with the school SENCO, external specialists, and parents/carers.

  • Promoting social, emotional, and academic development in a nurturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND (either in a school, nursery, or care setting).

  • A calm, empathetic, and adaptable approach to supporting pupils.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A valid enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

  • Right to work in the UK.
