SEN Teaching Assistant

SEN Teaching Assistant (Full‑Time) – Southport

Start: ASAP

Hours: Monday‑Friday, Full‑Time

Pay: £90‑£100 per day

Key Responsibilities

• 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, learning difficulties)
• Support access to the curriculum and positive behaviour management
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
• Work closely with teachers and support staff to meet individual needs

Ideal Candidate

• Experience with SEN or a strong desire to work in SEN
• Patient, resilient, and empathetic
• Confident supporting behaviour or willing to learn
• Able to commit to a full‑time role in Southport

Requirements

• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
• Right to work in the UK
• Recent CV with 10‑year employment history
• Professional references and safeguarding checks
