We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
The Role:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
Building positive, trusting relationships with students
Promoting engagement, emotional regulation, and positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils is highly desirable
Calm, patient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
Passionate about supporting young people and inclusive education
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Requirements:
Valid Child and Adult DBS (essential)
Right to work in the UK
Available to start ASAP
