We are currently recruiting a dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistant to join a SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Wandsworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support.
The Role
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Assisting the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities
- Building positive, trusting relationships with students
- Promoting engagement, emotional regulation, and positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working with SEN and/or SEMH pupils is highly desirable
- Calm, patient, and confident managing challenging behaviour
- Passionate about supporting young people and inclusive education
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Valid Child and Adult DBS (essential)
- Right to work in the UK
- Available to start ASAP
