STEM Learning Assistant (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics Specialism) Ruislip, Hillingdon ASAP Start An excellent secondary school located in Ruislip, Hillingdon are looking for a motivated STEM Learning assistant who is a graduate to be able to work with children on a one to one basis and in small groups. You will be expected to work with KS3/KS4 students. The school highly values the importance of academic knowledge and are wanting to recruit someone who shares this ethos. You will be assigned a form group to manage/ support and working alongside the teachers to also support the STEM departments and support children in their attainment and progress. You will need to support children\'s learning up to GCSE level, be adaptable accordingly to the needs of the individual children, and make observations and carry out target setting instructed by the teacher to improve progress. The position would be perfect for a future trainee teacher looking to gain experience within secondary. Key skills and experience needed: Degree is preferred in STEM Subjects - Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathemetics Experience working with children. Contribute an enthusiastic and creative approach to learning. Support with the delivery of the curriculum. High levels of professionalism.
