We are looking for a dedicated and adaptable Science Teacher to join our specialist SEMH school. You will teach Biology, Chemistry, and Physics up to GCSE level, supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs to achieve their academic goals. Alongside teaching, you will lead a small group of young people in sports and physical activities, helping them build confidence, resilience, and teamwork skills.

Science Teacher Role:

  • Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in all three sciences up to GCSE.
  • Create a supportive and structured learning environment tailored to SEMH needs.
  • Build positive relationships and manage behaviour effectively.
  • Plan and lead sports sessions that promote physical health and emotional wellbeing.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team to support individual learning plans.

Science Teacher Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
  • Experience teaching up to GCSE level.
  • Understanding of SEMH needs and strategies to support them.
  • Ability to lead sports activities safely and inclusively.
