We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in St Albans. The successful candidate will predominantly cover across KS3 & KS4 Science, ensuring high standards of behaviour, engagement and continuity of learning in the classroom.

The Role

  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities, primarily in Science for KS3 and KS4.
  • Supervise classes in the absence of teachers, maintaining excellent behaviour for learning.

  • Provide timely feedback to subject teachers on pupil progress and behaviour.
  • Contribute to the positive and inclusive culture of the school.

About You

  • Has experience working in an SEN or SEMH school.
  • Is confident supervising Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Demonstrates strong behaviour management skills and a calm, positive approach.
  • Is reliable, adaptable and committed to supporting every pupil's success.
