Veritas Education are currently recruiting experienced Teaching Assistants and Support Staff to work within secondary schools across the Runcorn area. We are offering day-to-day supply, as well as short- and long-term assignments, for individuals who are confident, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people in secondary education.
The Role
- Support students across KS3 and KS4 within the classroom
- Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
- Provide behavioural, academic, and pastoral support
- Assist teachers with lesson activities and classroom management
- Support students with additional needs (SEND/SEMH) where required
- Help create a positive, inclusive learning environment
We Are Looking For Candidates Who:
- Have previous experience working in secondary schools
- Are confident supporting challenging behaviour
- Can adapt quickly to different school settings and routines
- Are professional, punctual, and flexible
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply)
