If so, we would love to hear from you! Our client, a thriving nursery in Drighlington, is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader to join their team on a full-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a supportive and professional team, committed to providing the best possible care and education for children in their early years. About the Role: As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily running of your designated room, leading and inspiring a team of practitioners. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high standards of care, learning, and development are maintained, and that children are given the best start in life. You will also be key in implementing the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, supporting children’s learning through engaging activities, and building strong relationships with parents and carers. Key Responsibilities: Lead and supervise a team of Early Years Practitioners within your room, ensuring effective team collaboration. Plan and deliver engaging learning activities that are in line with the EYFS framework. Support children’s individual learning journeys, observing and assessing their development. Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in. Ensure all policies, procedures, and safeguarding protocols are followed. Promote children’s well-being and ensure they feel secure and valued.The Ideal Candidate: Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential). Previous experience working as a Room Leader or in a supervisory role within a nursery. A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and how it underpins children’s development. Excellent communication skills with both children and adults. Passionate about Early Years education with a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
