About the Role

Veritas Education are currently working with secondary schools across the Rochdale area and are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join their teams. This is an exciting opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career in supportive and well-resourced schools.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality Maths lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities for KS5 teaching depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons
  • Differentiate learning to support students of all abilities, including SEND learners
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
  • Contribute to departmental planning and wider school life

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be working towards it
  • Have experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting
  • Be passionate about improving student outcomes in Mathematics
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • Be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
