Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Level 2 and Level 3 Childcare and Early Years Practitioners to work on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Wandsworth and the surrounding South West London areas. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing and engaging environment where children can learn, play and thrive in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years, Childcare or an equivalent qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working within nursery or EYFS settings
- A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
- A caring, positive and flexible approach to supporting young children
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting children's learning and development through engaging, play-based activities
- Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care and outdoor play
- Promoting children's social, emotional and communication development
- Helping to maintain a safe, clean and stimulating nursery environment
- Working collaboratively with nursery staff to deliver high-quality care and education for all children
