Mainstream SEN Teacher - Burnley
Veritas Education is exclusively recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive mainstream primary school in Burnley for an enthusiastic SEN Teacher to join their dedicated Special Educational Needs Hub.
- Role
- Teach a small class of
5-9 pupils within the school's SEN Hub.
- Support pupils with a range of learning difficulties and additional needs .
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Lead and manage a team of two Special Support Assistants , ensuring the best possible outcomes for pupils.
- Work collaboratively with the wider school team, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
- Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- A passion for Special Educational Needs and inclusive education.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire, nurture and motivate pupils with a range of needs.
- Previous SEN experience is desirable but not essential.

- Main Pay Scale (MPS) / Upper Pay Scale (UPS)
