Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in Kirkham who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team for the full academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a lasting impact within a supportive department, delivering engaging English lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role
- Full-time English Teacher
- Teaching KS3 and KS4 English Language and Literature
- Full academic year placement
- September 2026 start
- Planning, preparation and marking responsibilities included
- Paid in line with experience and pay scale
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching English within a secondary school setting
- Strong classroom management skills
- Passionate about raising attainment and inspiring young people
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
