Veritas Education is currently recruiting Unqualified Cover Supervisors to work within a number of supportive and welcoming secondary schools across Penrith and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, sports coaches, youth workers, tutors, teaching assistants, or anyone with experience working with young people who is interested in gaining valuable classroom experience.
The Role
- Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively
- Keep students engaged and on task
- Support pupils across a range of subjects and year groups
- Gain first-hand experience within secondary education
