Veritas Education are currently recruiting for a Year 1 Teacher to join a thriving and passionate staff team within a primary school based in Pendle, Lancashire. The school is committed to ensuring every child reaches their full potential through high-quality teaching, a broad and engaging curriculum, and a strong culture of respect and inclusion. This is a full-time role and we are looking for a teacher who has covered recent phonics teaching. The school is a well-established and inclusive setting with a strong reputation for supporting pupils' academic and personal development and they want to continue to grow the development within Key Stage 1, making sure each student is progressing and achieving targets. The school provides a nurturing environment with a supportive leadership team and a strong focus on early Key Stage 1 learning. Pupils are encouraged to develop confidence and independence as they progress through Year 1.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support early reading, writing and phonics development
