Veritas Education are looking to speak to enthusiastic, committed and passionate support staff looking for their next Teaching Assistant role within the Leeds area. Veritas Education have a range of temporary and long term/permanent roles available, whether you are wanting a fresh new full-time position, or require flexible working around another job or studies!
Responsibilities
- 1:1 Support: Work closely with individual students to provide tailored academic assistance, addressing their specific needs and helping them build confidence in their learning.
- Academic Support: Assist students in a range of subjects, providing guidance on tasks, reinforcing learning, and helping to explain challenging concepts.
- Behaviour Management: Support the teacher in maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment. Help implement strategies for managing student behaviour, ensuring all students feel safe and respected.
- Teacher Support: Work alongside the classroom teacher to prepare materials, assist with lesson delivery, and offer administrative support as needed. Help set up resources for activities and ensure smooth classroom operations.
- Monitoring Progress: Track student progress, providing feedback to the teacher on individual learning achievements and areas for improvement.
