Veritas Education are seeking confident individuals who have a passion for supporting children and young people within their educational settings. Veritas work alongside a variety of different schools in and around the Leeds/West Yorkshire area, who are in need of supportive, enthusiastic and reliable teaching assistants/support staff to help in their schools. Special Needs schools are a great way to start your journey into education and to build on your current school experience, as you develop new skills when it comes to supporting additional needs, behaviour and lesson content.
Responsibilities
- Are you passionate about supporting children and young people?
- Are you looking to either start your journey into education employment or looking to build on your current experience?
- Are you open to supporting children with additional needs such as Autism, Aspergers, ADHD or Behavioural Needs across various age groups?
- Have you just finished your university degree or college qualification based around education or childcare and want to get into your first full time role?

- Passion for wanting to support and help children/young people
- Confident supporting children in different classes and age groups
- Enthusiastic, hard-working, energetic and reliable
- Able to build meaningful relationships with both learners and staff
- Pro-Active: Willing to get involved in all aspects of the children's learning, from academic lessons, to life skills learning and practical sessions

- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained
