Job Overview
Veritas Education is partnering with a welcoming SEN school in the London Borough of Merton to recruit a dedicated and adaptable Maths Teacher with QTS. Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and adapt engaging Maths lessons tailored to the individual needs and abilities of SEN students.
- Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing feedback to support learning and development.
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence, independence, and engagement.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to implement personalised learning strategies.
- Maintain accurate records, contribute to reports, and ensure compliance with safeguarding and school policies.
Candidate Requirements:
- Valid teaching qualification and QTS.
- Experience teaching, ideally with SEN or in an inclusive setting.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and support students, fostering confidence and independence.
- Strong team player, able to collaborate effectively with colleagues and teaching assistants.
