As a Nursery Assistant, you will support children aged 0-5 within nursery settings, helping to create a safe, fun, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and develop through the EYFS framework.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A Level 2 qualification in Early Years, Childcare, or equivalent — essential
  • Previous experience working within nurseries or EYFS settings
  • A basic understanding of the EYFS framework and child development
  • A caring, positive, and flexible approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children’s learning and development through play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes and outdoor play

  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating nursery environment
  • Working closely with nursery staff to support the needs of all children
