We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hair & Beauty Tutor to deliver engaging vocational provision to students at Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5. This is an exciting opportunity to support learners in developing practical skills, confidence, and pathways towards further education or employment.
The successful candidate will deliver Level 1 and Level 2 Hair & Beauty qualifications, adapting teaching approaches to meet the needs of learners with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality Hair & Beauty lessons for KS4 and KS5 learners
- Deliver accredited Level 1 and Level 2 vocational qualifications
- Differentiating learning to support students with a range of SEN needs
- Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging practical learning environment
- Track student progress and contribute to assessment and reporting
- Maintain industry-standard practices in all practical sessions
- Support students' personal development, employability, and independence
- A recognised qualification in Hair & Beauty (Level 3 or above)
- Experience delivering vocational qualifications (L1/L2)
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one)
- Experience working with young people, preferably within SEN settings
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- A passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential
- Start Date: September 2026
- Contract Type: Fixed-term (1 year)
- Working Pattern: 2 days per week
- Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience (pro rata)
