Are you a passionate English Teacher looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? At Veritas Education, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist provision in Chessington seeking a committed and resilient English Teacher to join their team, delivering across KS3-KS4 (Entry Level to Level 1).
The Role
- Delivering engaging and differentiated English lessons across KS3-KS4
- Supporting students working at Entry Level through to Level 1
- Managing behaviour positively using a trauma-informed approach
- Promoting literacy, communication, and confidence in learners
- Working closely with support staff and senior leadership
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience teaching English across KS3 and/or KS4
- Strong understanding of SEMH, SEN or alternative provision settings
- Ability to engage and re-motivate learners with barriers to education
- Confident classroom management and a calm, consistent approach
- A genuine passion for supporting young people's development
