Veritas Education are working with a welcoming and ambitious primary/prep school in Blackheath to recruit a proactive and organised Admin, Communications & Admissions Officer. This is a key front-facing role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the school reception, telephone and visitor experience.
  • Acting as first point of contact for parents and enquiries.
  • Supporting admissions, including enquiries, school tours and registrations.
  • Providing general administrative and clerical support.
  • Managing school emails, entry systems and parent queries.
  • Supporting school communications, newsletters and social media.
  • Using SIMS and other school systems to maintain accurate records.
  • Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous school-based admin experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Confident, professional and welcoming manner.
  • Ability to multitask in a busy school environment.
  • Experience with SIMS (desirable).
  • Flexible, proactive and team-oriented.
