We are looking for dedicated and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants (TA) to provide support at High Schools in the Wigan area. The successful candidate will support students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping to provide a high-quality learning experience for all students, including those with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students across various subjects
- Assist teachers in planning, delivering, and assessing lessons
- Help students with additional learning needs to engage fully in the curriculum
- Support students in developing their academic, social, and emotional skills
- Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications and Experience:
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (Essential)
- Proven experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting
- Experience supporting students with additional needs (desirable)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
