We are recruiting Graduate Learning Mentors to work across primary schools in Leeds, supporting pupils in Key Stage 2 (KS2). These roles offer an excellent pathway into teaching, with temp-to-perm opportunities available.
About the Role
As a Graduate Learning Mentor, you will work closely with teachers to support pupils academically and pastorally. Your focus will be on helping children develop confidence and improve attainment in core subjects including Maths, English, and Science. You will also play an important role in maintaining a positive learning environment, supporting behaviour management both in and out of the classroom.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic support in Maths, English and Science
- Work with individuals or small groups to boost progress
- Support classroom behaviour and promote positive learning attitudes
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
- Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils
