Veritas Education are working with a lovely OFSTED-rated 'Good' primary school in Wandsworth who are looking to appoint a couple of Intervention Teachers for a September 2026 start. Interviews and trial days for these Intervention Teacher positions will be taking place ASAP.
We are currently seeking a qualified Primary Intervention Teacher for a full-time or part-time role across KS1 and KS2. The successful Intervention Teacher must hold QTS and have previous experience working within primary schools. Working hours for this Intervention Teacher role are typically 8:15am - 4:00pm, with flexibility available for part-time applicants.
This Primary Intervention Teacher role is ideal for a passionate and dedicated teacher who is committed to making a real difference to pupils' progress through targeted intervention support. As an Intervention Teacher, you will be joining a highly talented and supportive team of staff, governors, and families who make the school a very special place to be. Key Responsibilities for the Intervention Teacher:- Deliver targeted intervention sessions to groups of pupils across KS1 and KS2
- Support pupils in achieving their learning goals in core subjects
- Develop and implement tailored lesson plans and strategies to meet individual learning needs
- Track and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where appropriate
- Help build pupils' confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning
- Work closely with class teachers and senior leaders to ensure intervention support is effective
- Absolutely hold QTS, this is essential
- Have strong teaching experience within a primary school setting
- Have high expectations for learning and behaviour
- Possess excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be able to engage and motivate pupils, fostering a positive learning environment
- Have previous experience as an Intervention Teacher or delivering targeted interventions (desirable but not essential)
