About the Role
We are seeking to appoint a passionate and innovative Teacher of Computer Science / ICT to join a thriving secondary school in the Tulse Hill area from after the Easter break. This is a permanent, full-time position suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced practitioners. The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably qualified candidate. You will join a supportive department committed to delivering an ambitious and engaging curriculum that equips students with the digital skills and computational thinking needed for further study and the modern workplace.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Hold QTS (or be on track to achieve QTS by April 2026)
- Have a strong subject knowledge in Computer Science and/or ICT
- Be confident teaching programming (e.g. Python), data representation, and computer systems
- Demonstrate excellent classroom management and high expectations for all learners
- Be committed to inclusive practice and raising attainment
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment and extracurricular activities such as coding clubs or digital projects
