Veritas Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in Kirklees to recruit a passionate and creative Art & Design Technology Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is enthusiastic about inspiring creativity and developing pupils' practical and artistic skills across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The Role:
- Teaching Art and Design Technology in line with the national curriculum
- Planning and delivering engaging, high-quality lessons
- Encouraging creativity, innovation and independent thinking
- Maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching Art and/or DT at secondary level
- Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about creative subjects and pupil development
- Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- ECTs are encouraged to apply.
