Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated SENCO looking to make a real impact? We're working with a specialist SEND School in Greenwich that is urgently looking for a motivated and inspiring SENCO to join their dynamic team.

What you'll be doing:

  • Lead the strategic development and delivery of SEND provision across the school
  • Coordinate day-to-day SEND support and ensure effective provision for all pupils
  • Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice, legislation and inclusive practice
  • Support and advise staff on high-quality teaching strategies for pupils with SEND
  • Monitor pupil progress, analyse data and drive improved outcomes
  • Oversee EHC plans, interventions and targeted support for individual needs
  • Lead, develop and deploy SEND staff, including training and performance input
  • Manage relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to support pupils
  • Maintain accurate records, assessments and SEND administration systems
  • Promote safeguarding, inclusive practice and a safe learning environment for all pupils

What we need from you:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
  • Previous experience in a SENCO role in a SEND provision
  • Hold the NASENCO qualification
  • Experience of working with children and young people with SEND
  • Excellent communication skills
