The Role:
- Permanent vacancies across both special needs schools and mainstream SEN provisions.
- Roles across Early Years, Primary, Secondary and Post 16 age groups.
- Supporting children with varying learning needs such as Autism, Asperger's, Down Syndrome and other learning/social requirements.
- Working on a 1:1 basis with specific children, helping them access their individualised education.
- Supporting children in crisis and demonstrating appropriate behaviour management for those learners displaying challenging behaviour.
The Ideal Applicant:
- Graduates! If you have just finished your degree and are looking for your first full-time role within the education sector, either within a mainstream school or a special needs school/setting!
- Ideal for anyone recently graduated from an Education, Family Support, Criminology, Coaching, Psychology or Child Care based degree!
- Committed, enthusiastic and passionate about providing all learners you work with a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment.
- Keen to learn! Schools are looking for applicants who want to grow in their career and role, be willing to take up training and learn new skills to help them within a learning support position!
Application Requirements:
- All applications are subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, professional reference checks, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) in line with our stringent safeguarding policy.
- Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained.
- You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- You must be willing to attend a registration interview.
