Veritas Education are working with a vibrant, inclusive 11-16 secondary school in Middlesbrough seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Geography Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time, long-term temporary basis. The Role
- Deliver engaging and high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
- Plan, prepare and assess work in line with national curriculum expectations
- Create a stimulating learning environment that supports all learners
- Maintain strong classroom management and uphold high behavioural standards
- Contribute to the wider life of the school community
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A passion for Geography and inspiring young people
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A commitment to inclusive teaching practices and student progress
- DBS on the update service (although we can support if required)
