Are you passionate about working with children and supporting their learning journey? A welcoming primary school in Lancaster is seeking a dedicated General Teaching Assistant to provide whole-school support across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
This role is ideal for:
- Teacher or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to gain more classroom experience
- Teaching Assistants who want to broaden their skills across the primary phase
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of a Level 2 TA qualification (or above)
- Enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine interest in supporting children's learning
- The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- A flexible approach, as you may work across different year groups
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Your Role
- Providing learning support across the whole school
- Assisting class teachers with classroom activities and preparation
- Supporting pupils with varying needs to help them reach their potential
- Helping maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Contributing to the wider school community and ethos
Hours & Contract
- 09:00-15:30, Monday to Friday
- Term-time only
- Long-term and immediate start available (depending on the school's needs)
