About the Role

As a General Cover Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver pre‑prepared work across various subjects at KS3 and KS4
  • Maintain positive behaviour in line with school policies
  • Build rapport with students and staff, contributing to a productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom transitions and provide structure throughout the school day
  • Follow safeguarding expectations as set out by the DfE and Veritas Education

Requirements

  • Hold QTS/QTLS or have experience as a cover supervisor
  • Can demonstrate strong classroom presence and behaviour management
  • Are adaptable, professional, and committed to supporting young people
  • Hold (or are willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service
  • Have the right to work in the UK
