We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a welcoming and supportive school in Fleetwood. This role focuses on Key Stage 1, making it ideal for a teacher who is enthusiastic about nurturing young learners and building strong foundations in education.
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons, supporting pupils' academic and personal development, and fostering a positive classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
- Assess and track pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies where necessary
- Create an inclusive, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
- Maintain strong classroom management and organisation
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (placements considered for ECTs)
- Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
