Veritas Education is working with a secondary school in Hampton seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their large and supportive SEN team. This role starts immediately.
Responsibilities
- Support students aged 11-16 in a secondary school setting, both 1:1 and in small groups.
- Provide tailored academic and emotional support to help students thrive.
- Be proactive, enthusiastic, and resilient with a genuine passion for supporting young people.
- Engage in extracurricular activities such as the homework club where appropriate.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience working with secondary school students (ages 11-16).
- Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
- Confident in managing challenging behaviour.
