We are looking for dedicated Behavioural Support Assistants to support pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about helping young people thrive while gaining valuable experience for future careers in education, psychology, youth work, or mental health support.
Behavioural Support Assistant Role:
- Supporting pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
- Working 1:1 and in small groups to promote positive behaviour and engagement
- Helping implement behaviour plans and emotional regulation strategies
- Assisting teachers in maintaining a calm, structured learning environment
- Building positive relationships to encourage confidence, resilience, and progress
Behavioural Support Assistant Requirements:
- Genuine interest in supporting young people
- Patient, calm, and proactive approach
- Experience or training in behaviour management or manual handling preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working with children or young people (desirable)
