As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality early years education and care. You will work closely with our team to provide an engaging, stimulating, and safe environment for children aged 0-5 years. You will be expected to plan and implement activities, observe and assess children's progress, and support their development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering engaging and educational activities to support the development of children.
- Observing, assessing, and documenting children's progress and development.
- Working as part of a team to ensure the highest standards of care and education are met.
- Promoting positive behaviour and supporting children's emotional well-being.
- Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the children.
- Communicating effectively with parents and carers about children's progress.
- Adhering to safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
- Previous experience working with young children in an early years setting.
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A passion for working with children and helping them reach their full potential.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Ideally, hold a current Pediatric First Aid qualification (or be willing to obtain one).
