A community orientated Primary school based in Chorley is looking for an experienced, dedicated and passionate Year 4 Teacher to join their team in September 2026.

Teacher Information

The ideal teacher will be an experienced, high achieving and dedicated Year 4 Teacher who is able to independently plan, prepare and deliver engaging and informative lessons that progress pupils toward achievement. The school works as a team when it comes to planning and the whole school works on the same criteria for effective learning and development. The school encourages its teachers to be creative with their lesson planning, coupled with the abundance of facilities available to the teachers. The school prides itself on its behaviour management and expects each teacher to follow its behaviour policy which has been highly successful over the last two years. This Year 4 class is extremely diverse in terms of pupil attainment and the right teacher for this role must be experienced in differentiating lessons for all learners.

Teacher Criteria

  • Experienced teachers either UK or overseas trained teachers able to apply.
  • Must have experience teaching in the UK and a clear understanding of the National Curriculum.
