Veritas Education is currently recruiting flexible and reliable Cover Teachers to support a number of excellent secondary schools across the Skipton area. This role is ideal for qualified teachers looking for flexibility, ECTs seeking experience across different school settings, or experienced cover supervisors ready to step up.

Whether you're looking for day-to-day supply or a full-time long-term position, we can offer opportunities that suit your availability and preferences.

Role Overview
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
  • Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
  • Follow school behaviour policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Support pupils in line with school expectations and classroom routines
Requirements
  • QTS is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working with secondary-aged pupils
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • A valid DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
