This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated practitioner to join a supportive Design & Technology department and make a positive impact on students' learning and engagement.
The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality Food Technology lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach at Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging and inclusive Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Inspire students to develop practical cooking skills, nutritional understanding, and creativity.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback.
- Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, including departmental planning and enrichment activities.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards within a practical classroom environment.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level.
