Veritas Education are working with a welcoming and ambitious primary/prep school in Blackheath to recruit a proactive and organised Admin, Communications & Admissions Officer. This is a key front-facing role supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing the school reception, telephone and visitor experience.
- Acting as first point of contact for parents and enquiries.
- Supporting admissions, including enquiries, school tours and registrations.
- Providing general administrative and clerical support.
- Managing school emails, entry systems and parent queries.
- Supporting school communications, newsletters and social media.
- Using SIMS and other school systems to maintain accurate records.
- Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous school-based admin experience (preferred).
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Confident, professional and welcoming manner.
- Ability to multitask in a busy school environment.
- Experience with SIMS (desirable).
- Flexible, proactive and team-oriented.
