Veritas Education are currently working in partnership with a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across East Lancashire to recruit passionate and committed Music Teachers for immediate opportunities and September 2026 starts.
We are seeking Music specialists who can inspire creativity, confidence and a love of performance and composition across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach KS5 in some settings.
The Role:
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Music lessons across KS3 and KS4
- Teach practical and theoretical elements of the curriculum (performance, composition and listening)
- Plan, prepare and assess in line with national curriculum and exam board requirements
- Contribute to extra-curricular activities such as choirs, bands, performances or school productions where possible
- Maintain a positive and purposeful learning environment
We Are Looking For:
- QTS / QTLS or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
- Experience teaching Secondary Music (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
- Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
- Enthusiasm for Music education and the ability to motivate pupils of all abilities
- Availability for supply, long-term or permanent roles
