We are seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to provide PPA cover across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 in a range of primary schools. This role involves delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting whole-class learning, and maintaining a positive, engaging classroom environment in the teacher's absence. You will work with a variety of classes and year groups, ensuring continuity of learning and supporting pupils with a range of abilities and needs.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering prepared lessons to whole classes during PPA time
  • Supporting pupils' learning and behaviour management
  • Following and adapting lesson materials where appropriate
  • Working collaboratively with school staff to maintain a consistent learning environment
  • Providing additional support to groups or individuals as directed

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting learning across primary year groups
  • Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons to whole classes
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
