Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic, reliable, and caring Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join our supply team, working across a range of welcoming nurseries throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas.
Whether you're looking for full-time work, a few days each week, or want to gain valuable experience within Early Years, we offer flexible opportunities to suit your availability and career goals.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you'll support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create safe, nurturing, and engaging environments where they can learn, play, and thrive in line with the EYFS framework.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in a nursery, school, childcare, or similar setting is desirable but not essential
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- A caring, enthusiastic, and proactive attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn and develop within an Early Years environment
- A flexible approach and a positive work ethic
Your Responsibilities
- Support children's learning through engaging, play-based activities
- Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
- Encourage children's social, emotional, and language development
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
- Work collaboratively with nursery staff to provide the highest standard of care and education
